Heaven & His Bride

1 Thess. 4:13-17

But I would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep,  that you sorrow not, even as others, ( the world) which has no hope.

14) For if we believe that Jesus died and arose again, even so  them that sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15) This we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which remain and are alive unto the coming of the Lord Jesus shall not prevent them which sleep.

16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout of voice of archangel and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ will rise first.

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Encourage one another by reminding ourselves, Jesus our soon coming King, the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings is coming back for us, to take us,

to be with him forever and ever.

Heaven is where we are going. Paul told us about it. John also told us in John 14:2-3 For with a shout with the voice of archangel and the Trump of God the Lord himself will descend from Heaven and those who died in Christ shall rise first. Afterward we are living who remain will be caught up along with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, And so we shall be with the Lord.

Heaven is where we are going. What is it like there?

Everyone that I have heard of that has died and gone to heaven, tells us it is a wonderful place. They did not want to leave and come back here, They tell us of the Beauty of it. They tell us the color of the flowers are so much more vivid,

so rich in color. They tell us how peaceful it is there. We can only imagine the splendor of it all.

We can feel alittle of heaven on earth through the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is a glimpse into what heaven will feel like.

The Holy Spirit is a taste of heaven on earth. Taste and see that the Lord is good. You can feel by the Holy Spirit, a taste of Love, a taste of Joy, a taste of Peace,

A taste of longsuffering, a taste of kindness, gentleness, a taste of forgiveness. A TASTE OF HEAVEN on earth.

Our Heavenly home what a place to want to go to. A beautiful Place called Heaven, a place of total peace, total Joy, total love. Oh my, taste and see the Lord is good. Psalm 119:103 (David said it was honey to his Lips.)How sweet are your words to my taste sweeter than honey to my mouth. Just imagine how great it will be in Heaven with our sweet Lord Jesus feeling his love for us. No Greater Feeling then this!

God is faithful to us even in our disobedience God was faithful to Jonah. God was faithful to David. God was faithful to Samson. God was faithful to Sarah. God was faithful to Peter. God was faithful to Paul. God was faithful to Jacob and now what is your name? You can put your name along side of all these great men of God. God is faithful and will be faithful to you even when we fail him. God never is unfaithful to his children. He paid a mighty price for the fellowship we have with him through the blood of his only begotten son Jesus Christ of Nazareth. God is a faithful God, he is a good God he loves you and I very much. We can depend upon him even when we fail him to be faithful to us. He knows our heart and knows we want to please him. Just remember when you do fail him reach up to him and take his hand. Remember Peter when he doubted and started sinking in the waves. He called out to God and the Lord reached down and took him by the hand and they walk upon the stormy sea together. God is always faithful to his children.
