Now I am not telling you to get up early to seek the Lord. But I am saying seek him before something happens in your life. Always be prepared as a good soldier of Christ. Jesus tells in his Word in John 10:10 The thief comes to steal from you to kill and destroy you. Let me ask you a simple question. Before you and your Family go to Bed for the night do you make sure your doors are locked? You lock them because of the wisdom and knowledge you have not out of fear. God has told us we have a enemy that wants to destroy us. Jesus told his disciples in Mark 14:38 To keep watch and pray so you won’t give into temptation. For the spirit is willing but the body is weak. So we see Jesus telling us to pray before we are tempted so that we will be strengthen to go through the battle that Satan sends our way. Make your spirit strong by prayer and taking in God’s Word. When Jesus told his disciples to pray they fell asleep instead. When the people came to take Jesus away, Peter cut a soldiers ear off and if Jesus had not of reached down and got his ear and healed him, Peter would had been in some real trouble. Prayer changes things. So in prayer our Spirit man becomes stronger than our Flesh, The Word tells us in Jude we build ourselves up on our most God like faith by praying in the Holy Spirit. So remember pray early before you go through your Trials. Jesus told us in this world we would have Trials and Temptations. He said to be of good cheer because he has overcome the world. He can show you how to win in the battles that come your way. So be strengthen in Him Today.
