Does the devil know who you are? Even a better question then that is, do you know who you are? Are you like Gideon not knowing who you are a Mighty Warrior of The Lord.
Judges 6:11 The Angel of the Lord appeared unto Gideon calling him a mighty warrior telling him God was with him.
In this world we are to be like Mighty Warriors.
We are on the other side of the cross now. Jesus died and now is risen, He is seated in heavenly places far above all principalities and powers.
Ephs. 1:17-21
God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding[c] being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
Ephesians 2:4-7
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages He might show the immeasurable riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
The verse above says “seated” with Christ. It doesn’t say “will seat.” It doesn’t say “will be seated.” It is telling us something that has already happened. We believers in Christ are already seated with Christ in the heavenly realms.
Now let us look at our Lord Jesus now, what does he look Glory. In Revelation 1:14-15 we are given a description of Jesus as He looked to the writer in His vision. It reads, “The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire, his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters.” This passage describes the resurrected Jesus with head and hair that are white or perhaps glowing, along with eyes like fire. His bronze feet and loud voice complete the picture of a majestic, powerful Jesus who has conquered death and the grave.
Now if you can get a picture of what you yourself might look like to the devil. Oh you mighty Man of Valor, You Mighty Warrior. We need to stand up and take our rightful place in God. Paul said we needed a revelation of who we are. Remember Paul recognized who he was when he shook off the serpent as he was nothing but a nat. God’s army is strong in Power of God. WE ARE MIGHTY WARRIORS IN CHRIST!!
