God is a great parent to his children. Have you ever

thought about why God gave the Ten Commandments?

They are actually a way of life for us. They keep us out of

trouble in life. There is life in the commands of God. They keep

us from getting hurt or hurting one another. If we walk in His

ways  then we stay off the Devils territory. Paul said give no

place to the devil. When teaching your own children, you give

them certain rules or commands to abide by, right? Like don’t

play ball near the street or on the street. That is for their

protection. The same with our Heavenly Father He tells us and

warns us by His word of certain things to not do and certain

things to do to keep us out of harms way. He is a Great

Heavenly Father that loves us so much. We can trust Him to know

what is best for us. He is very trustworthy. If you as a parent did

not teach your child certain things to keep them from getting

hurt, we would not think you were a very good parent. Let us

not be weary in well doing, for in the long run we shall reap good

from following after Gods commands.  For God is faithful….
