What does it mean when we say in God we trust? There was a song out a few years back. The words were I have learned to trust in Jesus I learned to trust in God through it all, through it all, I learned to depend upon His word. What does the word trust mean? One translation of the word trust means to put full confidence in a person or plan. Another translation of trust is the certainty based on past experience.

With God we have learned from past experience, that He will be there for us in every situation. We have learned, He will never allow more upon you than you can bear. He will always make a way of escape. We have learned that God is faithful. Man may let you down but God will never let you down. Jesus is a friend that will stick closer than a brother. He is someone you can call upon in the midnight hours and He will be there with you. Just think how much you know God loves you. Yet your knowing does not come close to how much more He loves you. His word says it is way past your understanding on how much He loves you. It surpasses our imagination.

A great teacher of the word, Bro. John Osteen, said that to describe His love in the word of God the only word to describe it was in John 3:16

For God so…..loved the world He gave His only begotten Son. God so…loves you and I. God is worthy of our trust.
